Community Guidelines
The People's Summit for Korea is a landmark gathering in which activists, organizers, scholars, and community members from across the world will gather together to chart a collective path forward to achieve Korea’s national liberation.
We recognize that attendees of all backgrounds will be coming into the space with varying degrees of security, wellbeing, and accessibility needs. To ensure that the summit remains safe, productive, and welcoming for all, we ask attendees to commit to upholding the following principles and guidelines:
- Aim to arrive on time for sessions and ready to give your full attention. Silence devices, avoid side conversations, and do your best to minimize disruptions if entering or exiting during sessions.
- Engage in discussions with curiosity, practice active listening, and assume best intentions of fellow attendees, whose perspectives and experiences may differ from your own.
- Be respectful of personal, cultural, social, and religious boundaries, norms, and practices. Harassment of any form will not be tolerated.
- Be mindful of the venue and do your part in keeping it clean.
- Help us keep our community safe by alerting organizers of any unsafe behavior, harassment, or other concerns.
- Please ask attendees and speakers for explicit consent prior to taking or uploading any photos or videos of them.
